Community outreach
We are passionate about giving other people opportunities to access an aspect of engineering and technology they may never have experienced before. We as a team, all learned most of our skills and knowledge through trial and error with the ROV. Ask any team member and they will tell you their ROV experience has been invaluable.

We want other people to feel the same way about engineering and technology as us. The skills people have built from some of our previous outreach activities are essential for heading towards a career in this fast-changing world.
The images on this page show students participating in an ROV-themed challenge we ran as part of a school event for pupils to earn "house points". Everyone seemed to really enjoy the different tasks and learning about our approach to STEM subjects.

We have plans for future community outreach projects like this with miniature ROVs we have made ourselves to demonstrate the basic principles of manufacturing a fully functioning vehicle. We hope to visit some local primary schools and allow the pupils to work in teams and develop core skills to use inside and outside of school.
